Have rear remotes? If so how bad do they leak down? Hope your are a lot better than mine. Been fighting to get the dealer ton them. My replacements are worst than the first ones so far. :(

All three rear remotes on my new L6060 leak down quite badly. I don't bother leaving the tilt cylinder on the tractor unless I'm using an implement which requires it. Seems I have to adjust it every 5 minutes. It isn't as much of a problem with the top link cylinder.

The dealer pretty much says "get used to it." They claim it's a design flaw Kubota has to address. They must have changed something along the way since I didn't have a problem with my old L3010 or L3430.

Pretty sure I read your threads about the issue... because I saw someone talking about this... and that was part of the reason why I didn't want to spend the extra $$ as well.

Sorry -

My wife and I talked about getting a tractor with cab, but one of the big reasons we got the Kubota L3130 is to mow 'pasture', part of which is on a big hill. The current tractor goes up and down fine, with some 'pucker' moments going across at top. The cab might make the tractor too top heavy for that hill. It sure would help with the allergies though (I wear a nice mask now that work just fine).. other reason not to spend money is job is at risk, many layouts as company downsizes and changes directions.

Glad you are enjoying it.

It's only the rear remotes. My loader doesn't budge at all if left up for weeks. My rear tilt cylinder use to that a couple hours to leak down, under an hour after being "fixed". Toplink is better at several hours to leakdown. Had the problem with previous TnT cylinders that didn't fit properly as well, so it's the valves, not cylinders.

The cab doesn't add that much up high. I'm guessing 300lbs, probably a fair bit less vs ROPS.

My L4060 set to a 72" track is way more stable than my L3200 with a 60" track. Think my L4060 can go even wider, but haven't cared to look as 72" fits my needs & impliments well.

My Kioti Dk top and tilt cylinders did the same thing (leaked down to fast) with the first set of cylinders I had. Almost certain it was the valves.
I replaced those top and tilt cylinders with cylinders that had check valves. The check valve cylinders have been on there 16 years now and they never leak down.

I ordered 2 float valves & a double acting valve. I got the 2 floats specifically for my TnT as I use it a lot. The piloted check valves prevent float from working. So I'm going to keep fighting to fix things right for now. I may give up & go with piloted check valves at some point, but not yet. I know Kubota can make good valves, just look at the lack of leakdown on the loader valves.

Yes, the check valve cylinders do not work for float.
My remotes don't have float so it was an easy fix for me.

The MX5100 I had did the same thing with a tilt cylinder. I would have to adjust my rotary cutter about every 15-20 minutes to make it level again. At first I was unsure if it was the cylinder or the remote so with the rotary cutter on it and pulled the hydraulic lines for the tilt cylinder. It didn't bleed down at all. I ended up just pulling the lines when I didn't need the tilt function.

I haven't used my M7060 with the batwing long enough to determine if it bleeds down the height of the deck yet. I don't think it does.

Fallon,
I added an Agrital cab to my tractor. It is all glass and looking at it, it is really indistinguishable from a factory unit. Under the plastic roof is a solid steel sub-roof. Likely to meet FROPS requirements. My cab weighs 900 lbs. I do "feel" the difference when working latterly on a grade.

Not sure of differences w/ factory cab weight, presume similar to meet safety codes. Much of the weight is north of rear fender height.

The rear remote issue surprises me, in that I thought my top link cylinder was undersized at two inch. My draw down in usually about one hr. Since I have less than 300 operating hrs, it never occurred to me the factory valve was the culprit. Certainly worthwhile to read forum posts.

My rear track is 74 inches with 17.5 R4. Agree going wider not compatible with existing implements. Currently track wider than my 6 ft bucket, a pain at times.
