Barn doors??

I vote double track with door stop hardware. I did basically the same thing and it works great. The hardware at the bottom is only located such that when the door is fully opened or fully closed there is a "blocker" to keep the wind pulling the door outward. Don't put track along the bottom, it will just be a pain.

Could try something like this.

Fastened at outside edge like a bi-fold closet door. Inside edge rides in a barn door track. Well supported, shouldn't sag. Can open in or out.

How big is your opening? I would put a header across the top of the opening and get a garage style roll up door. Everything else will just be hokey and a never ending challenge to maintain.

I don't have enough room above the door to install a roll up door.

Just keep it in mind after you consider all the other options. You can have a door made to any size and a garage style door doesn't need as much room as a roll up door.

I have the attached barn and as you can see it has no door. I have seen sliding barn doors but as you can see beside the door is an open wing, so I would not be able to put any hardware on the bottom of the door.

Anyone have any ideas as to haw I could attach doors to this barn? I don' t really want swinging door because I think they would sag. Also, can't put up any type of roll up door because there is not enough room above the door.
