There's a classic pict. of why it's so dangerous to use the 3 point to pull a loaded trailer!

You should be using the draw bar to pull that trailer!!

All newbies should see that photo. I've seen a perfectly and correctly loaded trailer hit a bump in the woods and nearly flip the tractor azz over teakettle on a bad slope. Probably would have killed the operator, who, for the sake of personal dignity shall remain nameless. Granted, he was very young but should have known better. Tow off the drawbar.

My 8N has stabilizers to keep that from happening. It still puts your trailer higher and farther back from the hitch though.

Yep, our 8N didn't have a drawbar so the stabilizers and 3pt drawbar were used a lot!!!

That looks like a pretty heavy load on not a heavy trailer behind a not heavy tractor.

Those were my thoughts exactly. The axle of the trailer is more or less in the middle which makes it unstable for a smaller tractor when the center of the load is behind the axle. Those roots have a lot of wet dirt on them.

Replacing a rotted out log culvert with a "new" one to upgrade a tractor road.

Thanks Cat.

You have great views there.

How many hay cuttings do you get in a normal year?

Since I have no water rights I only get one cut per year. Usually it's a good one though.:)
