Ordered my Heavy Hitch yesterday, been on my wishlist for over a year. Found my suitcase weights last fall and cleaned them up. Greg is great to work with and emails back pretty quickly. Till funds are available the cart is going to have to weight:D
Death im glad you posted the Land Pride QH05 clearance problem. I would of not been happy going that route.

Yeah and that QH05 is pretty light construction, thin bent steel tubing, lifting it I was not impressed plus look at the dinky lower pin locks vs the QH10 not even a contest.

You guys are trouble. My ballast box is going up for sale tonight, and the Heavy Hitch ordered this weekend. I planned on getting the QH10 anyway for an RB1560 in the near future. I'd use the RB for ballast only, but it's just too far back there for maneuvering when not using, and Ill store it inside where it's not 100% immediately accessible. Now, to figure if I should empty the Kubota ballast box or leave it full...

Make sure you order the taller weight bar Heavy Hitch HH1UO-B $289 if you are using the Kubota 55lb suitcase weights. They won't fit the shorter weight bar HH1-B $239.

Thanks. I'm going to have to find/buy weights. I have none.

Not pictured on thier website, call greg. You can also order the gooseneck style HH1GO-paintcode (B=black, O=orange). Also with offset option for Kubota 55# weights, its also standard as a superduty. Will need the vertical/horizontial reciever if you thinking about an aftermarket luggage rack option. A little more money but hate buying things twice. I posted a pic on page 2. I will post a pic when it arrives.

Now I want one.. I bought the weights for better traction when clearing snow, but did not know they interfered with the FEL until after I used them. They have been sitting in shop since not used. This is just the ticket.. now to get the budget approved.

While I'm waiting for the big Heavy Hitch to arrive I installed the small one. Since one of the factory Kubota bolts was damaged and they were already rusted I replaced with a set of stainless bolts, washers, and lock nuts.

Thsts sharp. Did the the top drawbar for installing a rack come with it?
I can't find any weights local, so I may need to buy some from a dealer. I like this approach to weight because I can leave the Heavy Hitch on, and easily drop the weights on when doing loader work.

I took a plastic 55-gallon drum, drilled two 2 inch holes thru the sides (closer to the top), ran an old 3 point drawbar/stabilizer bar thru the holes in the sides. Filled the barrel with some old bags of cement I had sitting around. Then when it was full of cement I put and eyelet in the top for the top link. I now have a barrel that weighs in the neighborhood of 800 pounds. I really like how it sits close to the tractor so when I'm around my buildings it's not sticking out the back.

x2. I used a blue plastic barrel (free), black pipe for the lift points and filled it with rock and concrete. An old 1 1/2" receiver out the back and angle iron for the top link. 650 lbs and cost about$15-20
