If your roads good and if you don't need AWD or a SUV I'd be temped to go with the Elantra. But the Forester is good on slippery roads, might want to check out the safety numbers.
I like awd, dont absolutely need it. I have another pilot and a truck, but i like driving an suv. Bought my son an elantra, its fun, but small. The hyundai guy never got back with a price on the tucson. 2 different subaru dealers have been great about getting back with me.

Oh com'on, Buckeye, just go get what you want and fergit about the price. You're gonna have to live with the thing almost forever, and the last thing you want is to be kickin' yerself in the butt every time you drive it 'cause you didn't get the features you really wanted. DAMHIKT! That said, don't fergit to look into reliability ratings because it would be a lot nicer if it spent more time with you than the dealer.:confused2:
I was thinking that today. I keep my vehicles long. One of the reasons i decided against the crosstrek, only 1 mpg better than forester, lot less room. 2k difference.
I expect this vehicle will make a few trips to arkansas to haul college stuff, so more room is better.

The instant Pot Galumkis turned out great. Left overs already in the freezer for another meal as are the remnants that didn’t make it into the pot, so st least 3 meals from this adventure.

Theresa also made the Pina Colada rice pudding. It too was awesome even though she used regular white rice instead of the over priced Arborio - wife said it was $8 for a small jar.
No idea what will be next.

Holubki! We give my mother-in-law our cabbage, and she prepares and freezes them for us. Here, a regular pot on the gas stove works well enough to heat them up. :)

I didn't mean to leave you out, Eric, but I couldn't think of any traditional English recipes that didn't involve boiling the life out of everything.

No boiling recipes ? Then you'll miss out one of my grandma's specialities - sheep's brains.

Wish I'd missed that too

Quite a change this morning, thermometer was indicating a whole degree above freezing. Could it be true ? One sure way to find out, tip over a weather bucket

Thaw confirmed

Drew. Might install a lightning arrestor. I have one. Still in box. Zareba Lightning Arrestor Kit at Tractor Supply Co.

Perfect and cheap! Thanks, didn't know they made one. I have a 15 mile charger going maybe half a mile so even if insertion loss should all work fine. Will look for it today as I'm headed to TSC.

35 degrees out, headed up to mid 50's. 15 to 28 feet waves offshore. Subsiding to 12-15 feet today.
I've done 12 footers in a Bertram and had my wife's eyes wide open, sure wouldn't go out in that stuff.

A bit sore this morning, 8 hours of work outside yesterday. Today I'm cooling it.
Made a salmon and chicken alfredo dish last night, now that was yummy.
When you live alone always makes sense to have plenty of Tupperware handy.
I love leftovers, soups and chilis always taste better the second time anyway.

Poured first cup of coffee. 21° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 42° with mostly sunny skies. Over 40 post to read this morning.
Big words, need to look them up.
IP, stored on back of a shelf.
Roomba, ours does not give me iPhone messages. May have to upgrade.
Generators, sure was nice when power went out and whole house generator started up. Got a 12KW. Runs everything including AC. We only have a 2 ton AC.
Cookbooks, not a good cook. But I am leaning how to use the Pellet Smoker.
Subaru's, no complaints how our Chevy's rides and handles.
Tripping over buckets. Be careful Eric.:D
Don't forget leftovers. I married the Leftover Queen. Some days I get to choose which leftover I want.
Need to clean up the tools used on caulk project yesterday. I have no idea why it took so long to complete or why I needed so many tools. Clean neighbors circle drive so he can get in when he gets home this afternoon. Then some NASCAR in afternoon.

Prayers for those in need.

Good Morning All.

Leftovers, leftovers, what are these leftovers you speak of?
We stopped having leftovers when the youngest started eating off the table good. Still ain’t figured out where the 23 pound 19 month old puts it.
Wife never was a big fan of leftovers. I was raised on them. She was raised on fast food and a much faster paced life than me. I still haven’t sped up enough for her.

I’m with Foxworthy when he said “People hear me talk and automatically want to deduct 100 IQ points.” Although never judge a book by its cover. My wife reminds me that, I’m not as dumb as I sound(accent) or want most people to think. I just smile. But some of you guys need a syllable limit.

Lol, well said hillbilly cuz! Like my grandpa said, “Ain’t no need write the dictionary when the comic strip will do!

KIA Sportage is their version of Tucson same internals.
