It's too bad animals seeking food have to be killed just because they are smarter than you are...
???

They've won you over, so they're a LOT smarter than me. I don't eat raw eggs. Vermin is vermin. See below.

... IMO ALL non native feral cats should be destroyed...non native feral cats should be treated no differently than the non native constrictors that have decimated native wildlife populations in the Everglades and other wetlands etc...

Cats should be coons, so they won't cause damage? What's wrong with a wild kitty sharing a bowl outside someone's apartment. Your shades of gray confuse me. Should I lower nest boxes to feed raccons as a reward for being smart like the coytoe that ate the neighbor's dog. (shot and skinned, if a bit late to save Cindy) Raccoons are not native to my barn or the hen-house. I don't bait for them except in live traps inside the barn, or during fur season. MY case is about predation and property damage not killin' geniuses.

Bug lights and rat baits should be illegal too, then. Makes perfect sense until I see a cute baby one ;)

No it's about laziness and stupidity IMO...and the latter can't be fixed.

I caught one of those little kittys too,

For some reason he wasn't a very happy camper! lol

As for snakes, IF it's big it's dead! IF it's a water snake it's dead! Water snakes are just too aggressive!

Sometimes when I'm mowing my grass, I see where I run a snake over, maybe I can get Moss over here to run ahead of my mower and "shooo" them out of the grass for me, so I don't run them over??

In regards to native species. We aren't. Should be eradicated? :)

How do you know that for certain? Maybe we were here first and the critters came later.

Someone is proposing starting a bobcat hunting season here in Indiana. Apparently they are making a comeback. But no one has done any studies as to how many there are yet, etc... so that should probably be done before opening up a season, setting limits, quotas, etc...

Making a comeback most likely because of wild-life management practices that tends to be extremely conservative in population estimates when setting quotas. Many species are very territorial so when the young are evicted by Mom they have to find a new place to live far from home (it's a 'turf" thing). Black bears in Wisconsin are a prime example...once limited to the far north woods they are now found just about everywhere. Same for the bobcats.

So you're scared of non-venomous snakes, eh?

We had the first bear in Indiana in the past 100 years here about two years ago. It came down from Michigan. Hung around all winter raiding trash cans and bird feeders. Got too used to people. They caught it about 30 miles north of the IN/MI border and put it down.

As for bobcats, I wish I'd see one. Never have. Can't start a hunting season if they don't know how many there are and where they are. I think they put the cart before the horse on that one.
