My wife said the same thing,,
we will now have an extension road to the best building site on the area the timber is being cut.

Maybe someday a grandchild will want a home site?

Maybe the next owner will like having the road that should be there forever?

Well, they decided the hillside on the far side of the steel bridge is too wet to only put rock down,,, so,,,
they started putting pulp wood down,, they will put rock over the wood,,,

Good luck with the harvest. I had a thinning done on 60 acres 2 yrs ago. Had a forester handle the loggers and got more than what I originally was quoted. Some pics of the trees awaiting transport
