Might be a good way to tell if your steering wheel is loose though.

Should be in the Ford operator's manual "Prior to starting, grab the wheel and shake the **** out of it. If it comes off, call a cab."

They're just getting ready for the next generation; self driving cars, which we've been hearing about. Steering is grossly overrated anyways.
