Does anyone know a ball park price for the LS Backhoe attachment for the 4000 series? If you own one are you happy with it and does it perform as you expected. Thanks in advance for any feed back.

I ordered mine, get it in April, LB3102 backhoe with a 24inch bucket 7000.00. I would love to know how folks like it also. Im pretty sure the hoe is not made by LS, but made in Korea, looks to me to be the exact hoe kioti sells. Kioti folks like the hoe.

Right at $7000.
No problems at all with mine. LS doesn’t supply feet for the stabs, so you have to make or buy what you need.

Went to a LS/Kioti Dealer outside of Ft Worth. Kioti doesn't sell them either, so the parts guy said about Kioti. I believe LS and Kioti use the same manufacturer for the Backhoe as they look alike and the spec's are very close.

Off the subject, but its on my mind. Every other tractor dealer I have spoken to could give a **** if they sold anything, and aren't very helpful. Doesn't matter what brand, it wasn't that much fun shopping for my greatest toy.

Well, that is a sad state of affairs and kind of depressing.

I've had an LS backhoe attachment for my 4047 a few years now and have no complaints. We have rocky/clay soil and it does a decent job digging through that. I'm glad I purchased it, and the price mentioned sounds about right.

I found the thread where someone posted the info on the Kioti pads.

IIRC, the price was about $125 for those. I had a bunch of 1/4” scrap, so I made my own version.

I found that thread with the Kioti part numbers, but if you look how old the thread is, around ten years old. You can believe Kioti doesn't sell them either.
Parts guy looked at me like I was making it up. He looked too young to be around selling ten years ago. Anyway if I want some pads, looks like I'll be building them too.

Thank you all for the replies. I have also looked at Bradco and Ansung on Everthing Attachments. I think the sub frame type hoe may be better than the strictly 3pt. style. Any thoughts on this would also be appreciated.

My dealer told me that a 3pt backhoe voids the warranty. Ansung is who I believe make the Backhoe and the Loader for LS. I’ve seen older LS video from Korea with Ansung branded on the self leveling loader on the XU series I have on order. And the backhoe looks and spec’s are about the same on the backhoe.

I had a 3 point backhoe on my John Deere, and put it on the back of my LS XR3135HC, but it was a real pain to put it on and take it off. Don't know why as I could get it on and off the John Deere in about 5 minutes. Something about the LS just made it harder. Plus no matter how far ahead I slid the seat, it was always leaned up against the rear window, so always a danger of breaking the glass. I had told the dealer I was going to put the hoe on the new LS and he said, "don't tell me that, I don't want to hear it", and also said if anything on the back of the tractor broke because the hoe was on there, they would not warrantee it. I sold the 3 point with the John Deere and bought an LS backhoe to put on it. I love it, works great. I paid $6,500 installed, and that included them driving 20 miles to get my tractor and bringing it back the next day.

I have a used LS located for sale that is in great shape. It is a LB 2102 that has a sub frame.

Check and make sure that the sub frame is to mount it on a cab tractor. There IS a difference. The sub frame for a cab tractor is longer than for a tractor without a cab. And you have to have the two brackets that mount on the tractor also.

In my research, I also thought the loaders and backhoes were made by Ansung but my dealer said he has been invited by LS to the factory in Korea several times and he assured me that LS makes their own...

After I said the cab tractor uses a longer frame, I looked at my backhoe book, and it only shows one frame, even though the dealer told me that the cab tractor uses a longer one. Only lists the same frame for a gear tractor and the same one for a hydrostatic tractor, but NOT a separate one for a cab tractor. Hmmmm, strange. I guess you can't trust everything you are told. Worth checking on before you plunk down a bunch of cash.

That is good to know, but if they make their own they are doing so with some kind of aggreement with Ansung. All you have to do is compare pictures, someone on here has already done that and if you do a little research you will find it as I did. Go to YouTube and Sign up to subscribe to the Korean LS site and you will see a video with a tractor in it that has the loader and trust me its the same loader with ANSUNG branded on the Loader. Compare the Backhoe to Kioti's backhoe and then go google Ansung and look at the Hoe, tell me again its not an Ansung. Nothing wrong with Ansung.

Just got a price quote today for a backhoe for a XR 3135HC $8200 w/16” bucket. Kinda wished I lived in the lower 48!

Yes, that's what shipping does up here. Very irritating. Been wondering what tractor dealers in Canada get for attachments and such? There are people that will haul things up from the Lower 48 for you, just don't know how to go about finding them.

uShip is one of those auction shipping company where people bid lower prices to get your load, There are a few more I just don't have them off the top of my head.
I'm looking forward to a cruise at the end of May to Alaska with my family. Besides refueling in Achorage to go to Korea, I've never been there.
