Those are elegantly simple devices! I suspect the weak point of the HudSon wedge socket is the swivel pin...I didn't see load rating in the specs, though.

They sell another one of those wedge sockets that does not have a swivel. If I recall correctly, that's intended for their larger cables.

I thought my woods was rough until looking at some of those Norway pictures, if that land was any rough and rockier one might need a 4 legged tractor. Must be kind of neat living with a mountain in the background and those trees, they look weather beat, nice pictures.
