Would like to know wheir I can buy a repair manual for my Kioti LK3054?? I have a oil leak that looks like it's coming from the valve cover or the top of the engine??, Where can I buy a valve cover gasket?? also the throttle control leaver does not hold the rpm's, I use a piece of wood to brace the throttle rod to keep the rpm's up while cutting grass and weed badgering. I would apreciate any help with these problems---crankman

follow the throttle level down to the pivot point. You will find an adjusting nut and a jamb nut. Loosen the jamb nut, tighten the adjusting nut to provide enough holding friction and tighten the jamb nut. It takes fairly thin wrenches and a little patience, but it works pretty well. Good luck. ps I bought manuals for my 2554 on line at a site that used to be Kioiti.com, but I think they changed it and let Kioti have the address. Maybe someone else can help with the web site name.

Bought mine from Jon Depratt at www.deprattequipment.com. Jon has been very helpful. I had to rebuild my entire engine. The parts were very inexpensive. I have all the mechanical work done. I have been so busy Jon that I have not had time to put all the electrics and body parts back on. Hope to accomplish this by grass cutting time.

One more thing crankman. Do you have a digital camera that you could take some pics of the electrical harnesses. This has been such a slow process I have kinda lost track of what went where. I will figure it out but a few close up pics from different angles sure would help. BTW mine is a 1995 model LK3054.

I just recieved that exhaust pipe and something else. I started in real estate in Sept. and I have been working my bunns off. If anyone is thinking of moving to middle TN drop me a line (Shameless plug /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif) I hope the admin does not kill that. Anyways the manual is good for specs and some help but the pics are bad. Of course on the electrical they have a schematic which I am no good at. That is why it will either be trial and error (may be buying some electrical parts Jon) or find a similiar unit and get some decent pics.

Thanks to all, this is a great site. We are located in Thurman Iowa, about 35 miles south of Omaha Nebraska. We have a 6 acres of grapes and a winery. We use the Kioti 3054 for grass cutting, weed badgering, hole drilling, and post pounding,and all around dirth work. The Kioti tractor is great machine. I would if I could send digital pictures but I have Webtv and it not possible with Webtv.How big of a job to changes the valve cover gasket?? What is the price of the Kioti repair manual?? They now have out a new LK3054XS workshop manual which has replaced the LK3054 workshop... much better pics and more info as well...

The service manual for my DK 35 was $65, the parts manual was $37.50. LK3054 manual prices are likely in the same area .

If I could get pics of any of the wiring harnesess as they come from behind the dash and go either over , under or around the tank. It may not be possible to get any good pics without taking off a lot of body parts and I would not ask anyone to do that. But any angles you can get to would be helpful. Also the area from the starter back to the dash would be helpful. I have got to the point of re-installing the fuel tank and I am having a problem figuring out which harness goes up, through or under the tank. wiring harness should go to the left of the tank, around the side of it. Should see some wire tie spots on that side. the hole in the middle of the tank is for the tach cable and maybe one wire?? for the fuel tank sender i think.

Thanks Jon. I hope to get to work on it later this week. Most of the connectors seem to be specific. Are there any that could be crossed up that you know of and how damaging could that be? One of my great weaknesses is electrical. All the mechanical stuff was fairly simple but this has me concerned.

you shouldn't be able to switch any around.... it should be pretty straight forward when you start running the wires and making the connections... they usually just fall into place.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

For most people that would be true. For me I am not so sure. Who else could buy a tractor with 500 hrs that did not even have the paint on the bottom of the unit scratched or even have a bolt turned on the engine and then have to rebuild the entire engine? I am not taking anything for granted as I put this back together. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif (Sorry for the whine)
