What could Yanmar improve?

Okay Yanmar, forget everything else I've mentioned in my previous post. Just fix the location of this grease zerk on the 424 steering linkage. Sheesh. Points straight to the inside of the rim regardless of your steering direction, making it a REAL pain to seat your gun (poorly), even the bendy kind like mine. If anybody has a trick or tip for this one I'm all ears! View attachment 547819

No, Not joking I have all sorts of grease gun ends It works better when you get the grease in and not all over the place and your clothes

"Joking": Sorry, should have replied with a quote to TNAndy who suggested I pull the wheel. I thought he was joking, but I might have to do that. I'll look into those grease gun ends, I think you have the solution. Thanks!

I'm coming up on 250 hours on my SA424. The only issue that really bugs me is the location to fill the diesel tank. I keep saying I need to buy a fuel caddy so I don't spill fuel on the hood. The decals don't take kindly to diesel. Other than that it's perfect for my little hobby farm.

Have now spent 12 hours on my tractor mostly moving dead fallen ash trees with chains and the front loader. Also a couple hours of brush mowing. Since this is my first tractor I have nothing to compare it to and am learning all the time. I would like to have a dash light that indicates on or off for the 4WD and Locking Diff. Not a big thing but my 17 year old Yamaha ATV has both and it is very handy for a forgetful person. My wife is accusing me of "creating" unnecessary jobs just to use my new toy, and I calmly explain the value increase in the property from my sweat equity far outweighs the cost of the chainsaw and the 424.
