Good morning! 53˚. got up early to see what Whipper was barking at. 3 deer near pool. Silly dog. Heavy trash day this Saturday in the county Kyle. It's time for me to get rid of those two bags of garbage and other "stuff" every three months that we accumulate that can't be recycled or burned. I have no garbage service. Is there anyone else that has no garbage service or am I the only primitive one?

26F mid 40's for high.
Weatherman saying dusting to inch of snow for us today  so much for our April showers for the May flowers.

As always time for English muffin fill bird feeder and bounce down the road for 8.

Enjoy the day all.

My Corvair had a gasoline heater, it didn’t work, but the blanket and Boone’s Farm did! LOL
Those early Land Cruiser I 6 engines were a near nut and bolt knock off of the Chevy engine and there was some legal wrangling.

Drew, you’re a good man, nice work!

Wow Kyle, that’s one zero that makes you a hero!

41 going to 50s today before the warm up starts.

Have a good day and prayers for all in need, I truly believe that’s everyone.

Forgot to start coffee brewing again. 31° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 45° with some sun in PM. Snowed off and on all day yesterday. 44° and snow coming down heavy enough to obstruct vision. Everything is white again this morning. If ground had been colder there would have been several inches of snow on the ground. Going to get branches moved to chipper pile today. Then give neighbor a call to see if he wants to get his downed branches cleaned up. May get started cleaning up garden pond. Looks real bad now. Lots of algae and other debris in it.

Kyle good news on the Calcium test. Mine was at less than 25 last time it was checked. I should be able add a little of Rox's Olive oil occasionally to my meals.

Riptide, glad to hear your wife is up and moving. Little at a time.

Hawkeye, Happy Birthday to your granddaughter. Sure wish weather would act like spring here. Want to get Treager out of barn.

My collection of cars goes back to 1960. 1955 Ford Fairlane. First new car was a 62 Rambler American. Then I did some drag racing with a 56 Chevy and then a Plymouth Fury 426. Do not remember what stage engine it had. I then found out about go-karts, snowmobiles and dirt bikes. No more go fast vehicles except for a 68 Vette. No foreign cars in all those years. We now have 2 Mexico built cars. Sure wish I had some of them old cars stored away in the barn. I had a company vehicle for over 30 years. That I could use for personal use. What a shock when I retired and had to pay for my own car, insurance, gas and maintenance. Got a new vehicle every 2 years. Wife got the hand me downs at a very good price.

Prayers for all those in need.

Good Morning All.

Ron, I raced go karts as well, what a blast, but very expensive and work intensive.

Got to race some great tracks back then. Indy, MIS, Mid Ohio, Gratton, VIR, Mossport and Chicago. They are all still operating today. 50+ years later. Chicago has moved to a new location. I ran Itialian engines. Raced with a group that included Troy Ruttman Jr.

Yes Ron 25 is a very low score and you are considered low risk. But just remember you are not no risk. The plaque that hardens is visible in the scan and will seldom break off and cause a heart attack, it is the plaque that is forming, that is unstable (and does not show up on the scan) that has the tendency to start the heart attack process. There was a person in Cardiac rehab that had a score of ZERO. He was very upset and thought he was not capable of having a heart attack and the test was misleading. But you have to remember what the test is measuring - calcified stable plaque. It is rare so that's a good thing. My brother has a zero score and he eats whatever he wants but he also is being treated for high blood pressure that just started late in life. Also remember, if anyone is trying to loose weight, the oils contain 120 calories of fat per tablespoon. If I had the luxury of choosing, I would choose a serving of Blue Bell ice cream (180 calories) over a tablespoon of fat/oil any day.

I wasn’t quite that elite! We raced up to 5 classes including unlimited. They used modified 250 cc motorcycle engines with 5 speed tranny, in a full lay down frame. We raced South Boston, VA, New Holland, Raleigh, Chesapeake and VA Beach.
All but pure stock were shifter karts.
