Buying Advice Kubota Mower decks

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the B and BX mower decks? I found a used RCK54-29B mower and was wondering if it would fit or could be modified to fit my BX2660.

I'm not familiar with the BX decks, but I would guess that they are not compatible without some major changes. Probably the lift points in the middle of the deck are farther apart than the BX. Also the front lift mechanism may be different, and the location of the PTO shaft is probably different. A rear finish mower would probably fit much better.

You could make it fit but I wouldn't! On that size tractor they work very well with a 60". I wouldn't convert it if it was free!

B series MMM decks are totally different from BX decks.

Among other things, BX decks are suspended, whereas B series decks are terrain following.

Agreed, but not those for use with the B2650/B3350.

I'm getting ready to buy a B3350 with 72" MMM as we speak because I fear that Kubota will do away with all terrain following decks in the foreseeable future.

I wouldn't have a suspended deck.

Way different, I have owned both B2920 and now BX2380. My B2920 way heavier construction, drive over, BX2380 not drive over must feed in from the side, different mounting brackets.
