Ok Kyle I saw you drop him off. But don’t worry I turned him around and he’s heading back to Giddings. IMG_1814.JPG

Randy- I too have a long history of respiratory challenges. Those steroids work really well, sometimes "too well" by masking symptoms. Longterm use can result in lifelong side effects. The inhalers always "wired" me. I am relieved to read that you are/might be calling someone. This is a really sucky time of year to get a bad respiratory illness. It seems these Springtime illnesses last forever. Is Ellen showing symptoms? You and she were "exposed" to all kinds of "foreign" pathogens during your trip(s) and social interactions. Please take care.- J

Don- I like the rat snake picture. Nice size too. Around here that would be considered a large snake. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for sharing the plant based diet information too... There is a lot of contradictory information on the internet (surprise, surprise). My/our dietary focus is to address the auto-immune inflammatory cause and effect process. A lot of what you have provided on cholesterol management applies.

I was never a car guy, except for wanting to drive. But i wish i had my grandfathers car, probably a 40s car. I believe it might of had a rumble seat. It was garage kept, dont remember my grandfather driving it. It was sold at his estate auction in the 70s for $300. I was in college at the time, when i heard that i couldnt believe it. I would have loved to of had it. I didn't even know they were having the auction.
Will have to ask dad if he remembers the yr and model.

I could use one of those!!:D I started another post in owning/operating about my 3 point PHD. First time I tried it, screwed itself right into the ground up to the gearbox....not real fun:shocked:

My neighbor has a 6" auger for his 3PT PHD, and he says every time he uses it, it screws itself into the ground and won't come out. He now uses a 12" for the small stuff, and I copied his lead when I purchased my 3PT PHD. The ground is very rocky here, and I rarely get more than 2' down before the bit gets stopped cold by something. Then out comes the iron spud bar and two handled PHD for hours of backbreaking exercise. I've often thought of rigging a hydraulic cylinder to the 3PT version, but have yet to find a good how-to on it. But I see a fencing campaign in my future, so that's on the list.

Proves that you can park at end of the lot and some hump will park beside you. I can park my Corvette a city block away from everyone and come out to find a piece of crap next to it.

Taken several years ago, when I thought owning one of "The Legendary Driving Machines of Germany" wasn't the PITA it turned out to be. I waited on the a-hole to come out of the store and back his truck off my hood. No damage, but it was so close I couldn't see any daylight between the two vehicles.:censored::pullinghair::muttering:

spent two hours cleaning up my garage in the pouring rain, felt good getting it at least partially done. Taking down my sunroom setup as almost everything is out of there.

electronic rain gauge says about 2 1/4 inches, manual one says a little over 3. I trust the latter to be more accurate.
that should be just about it for day.

David/Sodamo, surprise your wife some day on a routine errand by pulling up to a long boat full of native Hawaiian rowers.
Just going to the Doc's honey...
Actually, how often do you have to island hop?

That auger driller contraption drove those 10 7' posts in 2 hours.

Those two guys told me that they owned the drilling rig and trailer and rent skid steers for each job. They were from Maine.

I need a dog fence and I have no clue how to site it with the given "necessary (wife) parameters" and existing property layout. I am morally against those invisible fences and I do not think it would stop a St. B. only irritate it.

Drew- The last time that I surprised my Wife the tears were not of joy. The "surprise" Dobie puppy went over worse than the surprise trilobite fossil. Wifey would probably love to have a surprise of a canoe full of muscular Hawaiian rowers.:rolleyes: Wifey does want to visit Hawaii
