It is being made in XL and XLT trim too, just for Fleet customers. So they will be around soon used for you buy.

To be fair, most air conditioned horse trailers have some form of bling towing them around. Also, most people I know that own 3/4+ ton pickups never hook up a trailer.

I say if you can afford it, by all means, support the economy with your tax dollars on that $70k+ pickup. Where I live, a/c on a horse trailer doesn't seem odd. It would have struck me as odd when I lived on the Kitsap peninsula in Washington though.

This is the perfect vehicle for someone who has the cash (obviously), tows what the majority of people would tow (3000-10,000lbs), doesn't tow more than a day or so a week, and wants that fuel economy. Many purchases will be people buying it because diesel has become kind of a status symbol with trucks, though most people would be better off with gas.

I would consider a low mileage, used one as a daily pickup with a 1 ton parked for heavy work. I don't want anything more than an XLT though because I like the cloth seats and lack of Sync and other doodads. That means this idea is out for me since they'll only offer it in the Lariat and up. I'll keep my half ton with the 5.0 for daily work and continue looking for a 1 ton for the heavy lifting. The 1 ton will probably be gas as well though, since it wouldn't see frequent usage.

See that is the utopia I'm looking for. :D:thumbsup:
But will have to wait for those leased fleet vehicles to hit the car lots once the oil companies are done with the write offs.
and Xl or XLT would be fine. I can save$$$k's and just upgrade the sound / nav system with after market. oh and the back up camera also.

If we travel and want amenities we have the 4Runner.

I hope you meant "30 MPG"!

Then I would also agree. ;)

Opps, yes MPG. 30 is awesome MPG in a pickup. 30 HP would be beyond pathetic in a Pickup. :cryingeyesout:

I could be wrong, but I thought back up cameras are required in all new vehicles?

Yeah, looks like that rolled out just this year, I know that was the one thing we had to search for on the '17 1500.

I think 2019, but you are right, it's being mandated.

Houston scott has the best of everything, just ask him.LOL

He just likes to argue. If he was so smart, he wouldn't have let his son buy a crappy pickup with a Cummings (his spelling, not mine) in it. He really needs to find a good tutorial on spelling and grammar and spend some time learning basic writing skills.

Are you not putting your self on his level with your negative comment?
