I believe that's been his plan throughout this entire thread. The rest of us are just waiting for the results of the survey.
However it could be easily said than done. The transgressor is a well respected member of the community who knows that he's wrong, but doesn't seem to care.

" Law enforcement cannot enforce laws on private property." if that were the case in New York, the OP could use that huge cannon to solve the problem.. NC must be different.. in New York, trespassing is illegal, and Police enforce that.. the owner calls Police, and the suspect gets arrested on the word of the owner!.. each State has it's own laws.. actually, in New York, what the neighbor did would be at least trespassing in the third degree, and also a charge for destroying/removing the signs and t-posts.. My surveyor has pushed the survey into June. Neighbor has been back two more times to finish the pruning and first spraying. Second spraying will be in about a week. This proves he dosen't care about anybody or anything. Police warnings, posted signs, etc. Just wants his way.

I don't believe the survey will do any good but will continue. :thumbdown:

Too bad that you don't know somebody who needs a place to park their D8 for a few weeks; placed in a strategic location on your land, it would be a quick deterrent and a way to regain your land.

good idea. The guy who dug our pond about 3 years ago left his Huge bulldozer on site for about 1 1/2 years. That might mean he needs storage for some time. :thumbsup:

Be sure you know where the line is. Get the plows as stated earlier. And plow twice in each direction. If done correctly you will have two ditches about 18" deep separated by an 18" high pile of dirt.

Do something to mark your line or just deed it to him.

Sister was a PVA in another county for years, things like this can get completely out of hand. You should have stopped it years ago.
