Welded a grab hook on my new bucket. Might not seem like a big deal but I have found this to be one of the most useful additions to have on an FEL
Worked on the PTO safety switch because it was stuck (Not the best electrical components on these things I guess?)
Worked on the fuel float because it had failed (gas tank?, Warranty?)
Worked on the fuel shut off at the filter because it was broken (Who Broke it?)
Waited for a new throttle cable because mine is sticking (Normal, keep oiled or greased)
Noticed that the front differential seal is now leaking. (Warranty?)
Held my breath in anticipation of what will go wrong next. (Something always will)
Wished it was paid for so I could get rid of it.
Haven't been able to do anything, as I now live in a swamp at the top of a mountain with all the rain we have had.
But this morning, during my commute, I passed a flatbed carrying a whole bunch of Mahindra attachments, which was cool to see. Probably 50 different pieces of all sizes and shapes. Made me want to play on my tractor.
Just got done mowing 5 acres with my 2538, and an 84" finish mower. About 2 acres in, I decided to replace the OEM blades with new ones I bought a few weeks ago. Man...what a difference! Much quieter, cuts better, and the OEM blades were beat to ****. Didn't realize how bad they were until I took them off and laid them on the floor. They were bent, split and I probably should have replaced them 2 months ago.
But anyway, got about 3 hours of butt time in. My home made canopy is worth its weight in gold too. It was about 90* here today. Canopy provided some nice shade.
Will try to do the other 5 acres tomorrow or Monday depending on the rain.
Me too! I pulled a stump about the size of my pickup. Used the ancient Woods backhoe to dig about 4' around the stump, and eventually got it loose. It was too heavy for either the hoe or the FEL to lift out, and pulling it out w/chains didn't work since it was so deep (maybe 5' deep). So, I used the FEL to dig a path to the bottom of the crater I made, and once there, used chains to pull it out.
I thought for sure that, given all the dirt still on the stump, I would come up short when refilling the crater, but surprisingly it came out very smooth. I now have a car-sized stump loaded with dirt, in my yard. I'm considering pushing it over the 200' cliff edge on my property, but seeing it laying in my yard feels like a badge of honor.
We are dry up heah in Northern Lower Michigan.... Burn ban... still waiting for our Spring rains.... Great stump digging weather, though. Dirt just fall off the roots. [ Ma Nature is a fickle bee itch

I don't think I'm the only one that would like to see a pic of that "behemoth of a stump"!!
