Got to 85 today with a heat index of about 90 mid afternoon.
Ellen is on her way over so we can cook on the grill tonight, got some fresh asparagus and mushrooms to go with the prime rib burgers.

Very nice here, sunny 74° and a nice breeze.

One way of making sure it rains like crazy tonight was spending an hour carefully watering the garden.
Came in to weather forecast now saying almost two inches of rain tonight. That will sure make the corn and potatoes jump.
Tassels on corn, I think it's confused...though these first in liners were transplanted from inside early. I have zero expectations amidst the choking weeds.
But...the Indian corn sure is pretty, with tassels that are deep burgundy and green.

Head of Garden Club is coming tomorrow morning. Needless to say, I have been running my rear end off today trying to make things look nice.

RNG, all the paperwork for the updates and recalls on the motorcycle are for Canada Customs. It is unfortunate that your buyer probably used 'mask me' to hide his real location.

The new horn for the Kioti came today. I'll probably install it on Saturday.

Good evening all. 70F this morning pertly cloudy, light wind. Not much wind today, sky cleared off and high temp of 92F. Not much rain chance here either, 2 windows of 15% chance and that's it. Men's meeting this morning, followed by taking truck into dealer, $750 to replace ABS module which is not talking to the main computer module. Bike ride today, and 2 hour nap and ruled out boat shopping today. Has nor been a good year for transportation, boat, golf cart, now truck   Dog is feeling neglected and wouldn't go for walk :confused3:
Prayers for all.

Thanks for the added details, David. Any idea how much flow through the tanks it takes to avoid stagnation probmems? I'm asking because I want to add storage up on the hill above my house, mainly for fire fighting, and I'm trying to decide if I want to plumb it into the home's water system or just run a pipe down from it to a hydrant and keep it separate. I don't use much water outside the watering season, which is June-October, and worry about 10,000 gallons sitting fairly stagnant durning the non-irrigation times. Not a big fan of using chlorine in the storage tanks, and even though they'll be light tight and I'll use a UV filter on anything I drink, I sure don't want anything growing in there...

You could just buy a big walmart above ground pool, cover it, and treat the water like pool water fairly cheaply, running the pump to circulate.....just for fire water.
