My gravel was supposed to show up at 9 this morning. I went out at 7 (the 8 month old tractor had a flat battery, so charged it for an hour) and cut all the grass and trimmed. Here it is 12:30 and I still haven't seen any gravel. Called the supplier and he said the truck had a flat and he would be here by noon. Of course he didn't specify which day he would be here, nor did he mention that he was on Hawaii time even though his pit is only 10 miles west of me.
I despise unreliable people and IF he gets the gravel here today all will be good. But I will never call him again.

Maybe whipper will do better staying in Lexington. Just saying. Good luck with her move.

We do have a plan B. Some country friends will adopt her if she cannot adapt. We will give it a good try and lots of time.

I got a flat on my truck again. Discount tire wait is 2 hours. Somethings I won’t miss.

Sun City looks very nice, and some of the models seem to have single level designs that could be very wheel chair friendly. Which model did you end up liking the best?

And how long will it be before we can spot a new compass rose from the satellite photos?

We are getting the Magnolia floor plan.
Compass rose is a once in a lifetime building experience. I’m already 4 projects behind before moving there, which is seriously cutting into my reading by the pool time and bike time.

Enjoying a cup right now. Soon as I figure out how to post photos and get around in here I will. As far as the Ferrari, nothing will show up except 5' tall grass. haven't cleared that part of the field yet. It's really been too wet to get this tall stuff knocked down. The Ferrari was a $500 purchase my Nephew tried to pick from my neighbor. Halfway on the trailer the rear wheels of his S-10 were about 18" off the ground. He decided to leave it sitting in my yard rather then haul it to Oregon, Soooo, I reimbursed him for his loss and here it sits. Looks like it might rain today, ton of stuff to do, hope everyone out there has a wonderful day

Tufftorq emailed me back, they only sell the axle kit, not individual axles. Think i will try to repair it myself at $180 for the kit. Ebay guys selling axles are probably the side they didnt need from the kit. Kit includes both axles, seals, 3 qt fluid, filter.

This will be a bit different from the city living in Houston. The neighborhood has lots of amenities and community-activities, They even have a travel club and water volleyball. I stoped at the community organic gardens and found out there are also other vegans in the hood.

The view out the back is a golf course. Whipper will have to watch for flying balls and I’m sure she will get golf cart envy. I might even try a lesson or two.
