Bummer about your Husqy, BEF. How old is it? We have one that's about three years old now, and it's been a very good mower. It replaced the one my Wife had for years before we were married.

I feel like that also but it is ending on a good note as I watch the new owners appreciate and enjoy this place. Whipper is in for a culture shock and will have to learn how to be sociable in the dog park, she will be able to enjoy the wooded nature trails in the fall and not have to worry about stray bullets. I'll keep you updated.

New transmission is $1000. An axle repair kit is $180. Saw some youtube videos on tufftorq repairs. One guy gives lots of credit to TBN for helping him. Dont know if i have time to work on it.

10 yrs old. Still looks good, runs good until yesterday....

Sun City looks very nice, and some of the models seem to have single level designs that could be very wheel chair friendly. Which model did you end up liking the best?

And how long will it be before we can spot a new compass rose from the satellite photos?

Big changes in your future. Congrats.
I remember driving thru Georgetown area. Lots of senior communities.
Maybe whipper will do better staying in Lexington. Just saying. Good luck with her move.

Got both tires fixed and on tractor. No new tube needed in big tire. Just patch 2 holes. Replaced tube in front. Cut part of lawn. Resting and waiting for rain to move in.
