Good morning!!!!

I feel the same way, Randy, but realize that at some point I'll no longer be able to care for myself, let alone keep up with the maintenance here. It'll be a heart breaking process, but I'll probably end up in some forsaken old folks home. Hopefully my end will come soon after; I've seen enough of those places already taking care of parents, etc. Maybe I'll just wander off into the woods instead and save everybody the trouble of dealing with a cantankerous old man that misses the heaven he still loves...

Regardless of circumstances, they’re going to have to drag me away.

Got back from the funeral, mower axle has arrived. But got to work some more, then go to dentist. Really nice out today, 72° and partly sunny with a nice breeze.

The TT motorcycle races on the Isle of Mann are in full swing, and a new lap record was set at over 134 MPH. And the guy that set it did so from a standing start! Here's some video from his ride (scroll down to near the bottom of the page):

Watch the World Go Blurry As the Isle of Man TT Lap Record Falls

I believe the Velocity cable TV channel is covering it this year. Lots of historical background, rider interviews, and lots and lots of dash cam video like above!

The sad thing is 2 riders have died this year.

Took a break from work mid morning and mowed the lawn.. still love my Ferris ZTR. It was overdue but I wanted to give the spray plenty of time to work on the weeds.. it needs water bad now since we didn't want to put all the hoses back out before we mowed.. still had a few to move but not bad.

The wheat field across the road has finished "blooming" and pollen is not as bad as it was last week and weekend..

PJS, tell your wife "great job". Cloned.

I have a 15" South Bend (made in france) lathe that needs 3 phase power in my barn. I highly recommend a bridgeport type mill if you can only have 1 mill. Tooling is the most expensive part. I have full access (only machinist left) at work. But alas, the cobbler's sons wear no shoes. The painter's house needs a fresh coat. If I ever get to retire (probably won't), I might get some 3 phase rotary power set up.

Don will have 1 load just of instant pots....You might keep a small trailer, to haul off golf balls.

Don, I killed a rat snake that got into the chicken coop prior to dark Saturday night. I just didn't feel right about sending him to the new owner since I don't know him.

We need rain. South Texas has no hay already. South central Texas has had only 10" this year. Big cracks in the ground.

Sodamo, diesel about $3.00/gal here.

Prayers for my brethren.

Drew, get some rest.

I think we lost another today, making three. Part of why all the "big stars" no longer race on "real roads"...

They don't have too many hay bales and most of the roadside fences are made of stones. Drove round the circuit on one of the "Mad Sundays" when everyone who has gone over for the races just has to ride around the circuit. On the open road there is no speed limit and everyone was going like Hxxx. A Manx Norton on open megaphones going past at full noise sounded "FANTASTIC"

Good evening all. 72F for the start, near calm wind partly sunny sky. Sky clouded up in a hurry, was just west where thunderstorms were training, could feel the outflow from them. They quit about 10, sky cleared off, moderate south wind and high temp of 92F. Bike ride this morning, late start due to close by thunderstorms, nap and finish mowing front lawn. Tonight finished play list to mp3 player and worked on bike trip routing, finally got official route guide. Weather for trip does not look bad, little warm maybe little wet.
Don, I agree with RNG, most impressive move, it took my movers 2 FULL days to pack up the house, with 4 people in garage alone. Took 4 days for main load to show up at TX, 3 months for a secondary load to show. It took us 6 weeks to get the furniture to a point where we were sleeping at house.
Buckeye, good luck with axle repair
PJ please convey to your wife what a nice job on statue
Randy nice DR report.
Prayers for all.

Man, you're fast. Don't forget the tiny pin everyone talks about, and getting the wedges the right way.

I have a buddy over at the IOM TT races. Sad, but I figure the deaths will contribute to the ending of IOM, unless they can air bag every bad corner.

If there was a tiny pin, i missed it.

Mine was a lot different than the one i saw on youtube.
I only took out the axles and axle gear. The axle gear only because both axle clips fell out and dropped under it.

One axle end seal doesnt look quite seated all the way, just goes in from the outside.

Was surprised how much fluid didn't come out after first draining it.

That's only $.70 more than I'm paying at the pump now after Governor Moonbeam's new fuel tax...:muttering::censored::hissyfit:

I paid $3.81/g at the pump for dyed last week. Difference is Walter’s delivery. He has a 100 gal min. As far as I know, he is only one. There is another delivery service, but 300g min.

47 right now...high in the upper 60's....pretty cool for this time of year.
Boy, another night up with acid reflux...as much as I hate to say it...I think it's from my wife's potato salad. That's the only thing in common for the two acid reflux attacks I've had in the last week.

Good morning all, 64 this morning going to 74. Very thankful as the heat pump is in the attic but more work to do before it starts to blow cold. We started to go to a free gospel concert last night but to tired so we stayed home and went to bed early. No pans for today, will see. Worked on cleaning out the garage yesterday, a lot more to go.

RNG, even before I heard about the wrecks I was thinking better him than me. :)

Roy, I had a good amount of reflux until I quit prolisec. Have not had it since. Did have to ween myself off slowly. dropped only 1/4 of a pill a week.

Buckeye, hope the axle repair goes well and lasts well.

Prayers for all, have a great day. Ed
