Well, now, I can't find favorable information on those who have added the mulching kit to the 60" MMM. One guys posts litter the internet with his issues, and he returned the kit. I may punt and try it. Just not sure yet.

Robertm, Jt and myself both like the mulching kits on our bx's. His is a bx2370 and mine is a bx2680. Mine works great, Verry happy that I installed mulching kits on both the bx and f2690 kubotas. Wish I would of done it earlier. In my case I mow every 5 - 7 days depending on the weather. Later on in the year maybe 8-10 days. But whatever the time the yards look great, very little clipping on mower when done, no clippings on me(which is why I bought the one on the F).

Thanks 628pm. I think I'm going to give it a shot. I just don't know about mulching sycamore leaves. They are 12" in diameter and are usually still partially green when they fall. It's tough to mince them up. Maybe the mulch kit will do wonders, but I'm not sure. If the mulch kit is on, it kind of eliminates the possibility of running a bagger.
I have the BX2370-1 purchased last year with a dealer installed 60" deck with dealer installed mulching kit for which you seek input. I checked this morning to make sure mine was a 60". I'm totally satisfied with its cutting and distribution of grass clippings not on me and not in obvious rows. I can m ow close on either side and in random or no patterns and in any direction with equal distribution of grass cuttings. A satisfied user of the 60" with mulching kit reporting in.I also have sycamore trees along with many maples, hickory, polar and tulip poplar, walnut and apple, pecan, pear, peach and plum trees with totally satisfactory mulching of leaves.
Yep I think JT can sell you anything. Just ask him how many tractors he has bought/sold! :laughing:Thank you Johnthomas. You have given me the additional push I need. I think I'm going to order it up Friday.
Thanks!
