I would like to add a tilt function to my ford 1920 3pt hitch,
What cylinder should I use (approx. 16" retracted x 24" extended)?
Is there a direct fit available (with proper ends)?
What would be a suitable 2 spool valve (might add top function later).
Functionality is primary, but overall cost is also a consideration.

Not sure that's there's any off the shelf.

A 2-2.5 x 6-8in cylinder should work, 2.5x8 would be good if you can get it to fit.

Any valve with at least 8gpm rating, open center with power beyond capability will work.
For the money I've had good luck with Prince Wolverine serues valves.

If you want to buy them then Mtnviewranch on here can make them, just might take a little while as he's usually backed up with orders it seems.

Thanks!
I just remembered that "Fit Rite" makes custom tilt kits. I sent an e-mail requesting information

Not fast, but good work & he stands behind his gear.

These folks show a few. TOP-N-TILT

Thank you for the link.
Unfortunately all those listed are Top Link, and the piston stroke is too long for my side link application.
I need it to be a 6" stroke, between 13" and 19" to work with my Ford 1920 3pt.
I really do not need a top link, as I already have a "Hydraulink" (poor man's manual hyd. top link).
I want the hyd. side link (tilt) to use with my brand new ETA Deluxe 6 way scrape blade (beautifully built piece of equipment).
I found a new 1.5" x 6" cyl. ($63) from an E-Bay seller, with 6" stroke, that should work perfectly, after I modify the end attach points.
I calculate that the 1.5" dia. cyl. will provide plenty of force to do the job, while not being as bulky as a 2" or 2-1/2" dia. cyl..
Will use a Prince Wolverine 2 spool 8GPM valve (E-Bay $147), plus hoses/fittings etc., and all should be good.
Fit Rite would likely be somewhat more sophisticated, but far too rich $ for me, and a 29 year old tractor.
