When i tried safety googles while running a trimmer, i get so much water inside i cant see a thing..
Same problem I have... I sweat like a pig (assuming pigs sweat a lot) when I weed wack. The grass and weed trimmings end up all over and get stuck to my safety glasses and the sweat seems to make them extra hard to wipe off. It's about that time I have to stop anyways from sneezing because all of the pollens I stirred up!

Get some 1" medical tape from your first aid kit. Cut a piece about 3" long. Put the tape on the nose bridge area of the respirator and to your nose and seal up the area between your skin and the respirator under each eye. Now exhaled air cannot go UP under your glasses, and they won't fog.

Well, I have a lung condition so I have to wear respirators when working outside. I've tried a lot over the years and I can tell you without a doubt that if you are going with any type of 1/2 or full face respirator with filters then you want to look at getting a silicone one. The silicone masks are the most comfortable to wear and form better to your face. Proper sizing is a must with all these masks or you might as well not get them. The problem with the silicone masks is that they are not as durable as some of the thermoplastic elastomer respirators but with that said I have only torn one of them over all the years. The Honeywell North 7700 silicone half face respirators are the ones I like the best. They fit me well and are comfortable. They last a long time and aren't expensive.

I have looked through some of the old posts on respirators but can find nothing on this little problem I have when using the one time respirators. I've tried a few different makes but have the same problem with them all. I use a respirator when strimming - long grass - small brush - and when spraying our olive trees and using sanders etc. Can anyone tell me whether the permanent masks where you just change the filters are any better in this regard? I've looked for example at the 3M 6502QL and others like it. I have no idea how good these would be. As you can see from the use I make of a mask, apart from spraying the olives, the mask is just to keep dust and pollen out.
Any advice would be appreciated - I'm not worried about the cost so much as the comfort and convenience - and most of all being able to see what I'm doing!

These work for me. bend the metal to fit your nose bridge.

I wear them a few times before I dispose of them.
