My SCUT is (I am afraid to say here is) a JD 1025R with FEL and 60" Mid Mount Mower Deck - commercial grade "7 iron deck" as they call it. I mow my church's four acre yard most every week (or at least I try to - (depends on the weather of course). When the fall months start rolling around it is usually dark when I finish mowing. I don't get started till after I get off work. My 1025R has the extra fender lights included which is great to have when mowing when the sun goes down. I have the auto connect deck so I don't have to lay on the ground and try to manually hook or unhook my mowers PTO shaft to the tractor. That can be a pain at times. I am pretty happy with it. I prefer a tractor with all steel fenders and engine panels, but this should do fine if I'm not rough with it.

I'd be proud to own one of those, and of the work you do with it.

Agree W/ Pat's quick hitch at lower links. Spreader bar accessory provides infinite adjustment.

Not a dewalt fan, have Milwaukee cordless grease gun, incredible tool. 12volt adequate, 18 V overkill.

Was beginning to think having a baby was easier that deciding upon a tractors. All the expectant fathers may now relax and exhale.

You can modify avatar, don't see why name change is issue. Muhammad busy, new project these days. Write to Mike PA, admin, send PM, ask him procedure, he is good about responding.

Happy for ya, inside joke, put big wheels on the rear!

Ya, the big wheels go on the rear. Will make a big sign and put it on my tractor shed so I don't forget. :D

Still deciding on the quick hitch. No hurry; some experience hitching the old fashioned way may help inform my decision about which QH to buy. Or just get me mad enough to really, really want it.

Used to be Milwaukee all the way. My old MW tools were stolen long ago (not here). New MW ain't a patch on them. My new MW drill, clutch failed. Twice.

Will probably go in person to HF for the grease gun (I have a pistol grip but want electric). That's a tool I need to put my hands on first. So glad HF opened a store a year ago, only an hour away.

Thank you GirlWhoWantsTractor. I have proudly tried to take care of the yard at the church and make it look nice for about a total of 7 or 8 years now. Between my dad and I we have probably spent a combined 15 years taking care of mowing the church property. it runs in the family. :)

The stuff I do "on the side" to help others is what makes my life worth something IMO. :)
