i'm thinking several things could have bent this plate. it would have
required a down pressure on the middle of the tractor, the backhoe
raising the rear of the tractor off the ground, driving over rough ground,
or chaining the tractor to a trailer across the middle of it. i have a theory
if you have this problem, pick up a heavy load with your loader. the
squech should go away. if it does, your plate is bent.

- 2009 Mahindra 2615 Useless after 300 hours
Did Mahindra find a fix for the dual stage clutch on the 2009 2615 gear tractor. I have 300 hours on this tractor and Mahindra wants $2400.00
just for the clutch plate. This is ridiculous, is there an aftermarket clutch company that would sell a clutch plate for this tractor?

When you asked if Mahindra has found a fix for the dual stage clutch, please give a little more detail. We found very few actual clutch failures on the 2615. Prematurely worn disks were rare and generally from operators using the clutch in a manner that over heated them. The issue we saw occasionally that was mystifying was the TO bearing squeal. We would occasionally find a tractor that squeaked when the TO bearing contacted the clutch fingers and sometimes a new bearing and even a new clutch cover would not solve it.
Check with another dealer, or check again with that dealer. The parts breakdown shows you can buy each piece of the clutch, and while each piece is expensive, it's a fraction of what you were quoted. And I expect you have a clutch re-builder in your region where you can get aftermarket parts or send them the clutch assembly and have them rebuild it.
