Kubota L4060HSTC
Hi everyone, long time visitor of TBN but first time poster. I have scoured both TBN and google for days and have not been able to find a Kubota rear remote kit for L4060 cab. In fact I can’t find anything except the off valve on eBay or the like. Can anyone point me in the right direction for these valves? Or direct me to an old post if I missed it here somewhere?

Thank you!
Zac

Messicks, or any kubota dealer.

For remotes, I've always had the dealer install factory parts. It's one thing if I installed them every day bit I don't and don't want any problems. The dealer gets it right, the price is what it is and I've never had a problem. Look up the price on Messick''s site or use the "Build Your Own" on the Kubota factory site to get a ballpark idea of cost.

They are easy to install, several writeups on tbn.

Check with Brian at Fit Rite, last I remembered he was working with another TBN member as there was a long delay time on Kubota OEM and quality was not as good as in the past. I went with OEM on my L5740 several years ago and like them. I would recommend at least one floating, I didn't; wish I had.

Brian generally doesn't mess with manually actuated valves for cabbed machines I don't believe. He also warned me & I found out that the rear remotes on the Grand Kubotas are crap. It's the least happy aspect on my L4060. I'm on my 3rd tilt valve & my tilt cylinder still leaks down in under an hour. My toplink is ok & only stretches an inch or 2 over a few hours, after they replaced it once. The crap cylinders from the dealer than never fit right & several leaked badly externally had the same issues (mostly relevant on the ones that didn't leak). Those cylinders got replaced by a pair from Brian at Fit Rite, which I have been happy with.

I knew at one time Brian recommended OEM for cabs, but had backed off at one point. My cylinders are fine, but the last one I bought was bought from Brian and it is the same as the ones from my dealer. Next one will be Fit Rite.

I recently had a customer with a new L6060, He ordered the tractor to get it how he wanted it. We added European style quick hitch ends to his draft links and he got his T&T from me, also with the European QH on the top link.

Anyway, he just met with the Kubota people last week about his hydraulic problems. Side link drifts at a rate of 1" per minute and the top link was less. Loader will not lift the front of the tractor more than 3" before going into bypass. Loader control valve is very hard to move to the right in the dump position.

Kubota acknowledges that it is ALL wrong, but to bad, that's how it is. Won't do a single thing to correct any of this for him. :( This is becoming a REAL PROBLEM for Kubota. I can't tell you how many people complain to me about these valve problems.

The valve issues are becoming more known about, I have been getting more and more requests for rear remotes, even in cab models which I do not have a solution for.

The last guy to ask me about this said that he was willing to go all electric and just have manual flow control valves to control the speed. Pretty sad that this has to even be considered IMO.:sigh:

MtnViewRanch, Would it be possible to have an electrically activated top-link for a tractor? I have an electric sleeve hitch for my garden tractor that I use to pull a 4' box blade. It only has a 350-pound lift capacity, but perhaps it could be made stronger?

Nice thing is, it has down-pressure. I have included a link in case anyone would like to see it.
