Look good to me, I have a tote full of those casters you have on your table (I have them on my welding table too) from my dad's work, they are nice but I like the urathane/cast wheel better for really heavy equipment.

Guess I better get my order in........

Anyone here know how polyurethane tread holds up under heavy load on a brushed-concrete floor? Compared, say, to hard rubber.

Polyurethane is a very tough material and will stand up just fine.
One advantage is that unlike rubber it will not leave black marks, and you might be surprised to find that often 'black rubber' is not really rubber.

Back some in time polyurethane casters were almost 2X black rubber in price.

Yes,various densities of PE are available. US Navy is a fan of UHMW PE. Ultra high molecular weight poly ethylene. A super tough composition used for amphibious well decking, rub strips, etc. takes the abuse. Trick is determining quality of PE used on the casters.

The casters are polyurethane not polyethylene. Not the same polymers at all, both have different properties that vary with molecular weight. Just an oversight I'm sure.:thumbsup:

Not just the navy who likes that materiel... I love HDPE and used it often on projects and snow implements. I have ABS as well but that stuff isn't nearly as tough.
