Grease; Please educate me

That is exactly why I quit buying Mobil 1 grease several years back...that stuff would seperate bad, always had a puddle of red oil wherever I left the grease gun..

Thats for sure, it was more oil than grease, another one that separated badly was called the "red" grease, I'm still wiping red oil out of my grease gun.

I have been wondering about grease use for my tractor, and just recently purchased a Kubota BX 23 S. I wanted to grease my backhoe, and purchased a case of the traveller brand multipurpose lithium grease from TSC. It is the one in the green and black box, and has a tractor symbol on the tube. Is this the same grease you are using? If so are you still satisfied with it.

Is the Traveller brand premium truck & tractor grease any good thats sold at TSC? The label says it meets GC-LB specs and that the formula is a "trade secret".
It has no additional info listed on the tube. I'm guessing Traveller is branded on TSC sold oils, hydraulic fluids and grease. Wonder who makes it for TSC?

Well, the Travellers brand grease seems to work fine so even tho I'm VERY curious as to what the "trade secret formula" is, I'll just continue to use it.

Guess no body here knows it either....
