You enjoy Google searches so much, try "dogs kill billions "
Don't Just Blame Cats: Dogs Disrupt Wildlife, Too - Live Science
Live Science Planet Earth
So no one...and and I no one should have a domestic pet. Become well informed enough to realize the scourge of our planet is domestic pets and they all must be eradicated!
First off it's an incorrect assumption on your part that "I enjoy google searches..." but it is funny that conducting the search you recommended returned a list of related data that was 99% about how destructive cats are to native wildlife and the word "cat(s)" was not even in the query...
You seem angry..is it because you dislike my opinions or is it because you were wrong and you didn't care for reading factual data that was contrary to what you thought?
FYI...IMO...The bond between companion animals (regardless of species or origins) and their human counterpart can be no less strong than humans are capable of...
There is a huge difference between species of animals that have been domesticated (or somewhat domesticated)...for instance canines carry far less of a natural killing instinct than felines...interests in breeds and breeding have played a major role in domestication.
IMO there is little that is as fascinating and entertaining as watching a working dog or a sporting dog performing it's job using it's natural instincts...the herding class of dogs is exceptional in this regard IMO...
but...IMO...any and all non native, predator species of animal/pet be it dog, cat, lizard, python, boa, lion, tiger etc., etc...should not be allowed to prey on any native species...and it should be the responsibility of the owner of said animals to prevent them from doing so...
