I just saw the footage of the duck being raised. Sure looked like the top was still intact and had life preservers trapped inside. Ugh.

What I saw was the canopy opened bow to stern and some of the life jackets still stowed where they always stow them. The lifejackets weren't trapped. They were still stowed.

Dumb question...

I knew some guys that went to Ft. Leanoard Wood. I heard nothing really great about the state of Missuouri (that said, I understand the same could be said for those who only went to Ft. Bragg around NC and some other forts. I've been in St. Louis myself for work, really nothing to write home about.

Dumb question is, what makes this area of Missouri a tourist trap??

A long time ago I had a customer mention Missouri for gambling, and I figured it was like western NC with the injuns running the joints, but if I'm going to go to a sin city, it's Vegas or bust.

All the guys I knew that were at Leonard Wood only bitched about the state, figure I wasn't missing anything.

That said, years ago, I wasn't impressed with the Fayetteville NC area, and years later, am pretty impressed with the state of NC. That said, other than some vineyards people run with bed and breakfasts, it's not like I live around a tourist trap.

This place where this boat sank seems like a tourist trap to the hilt, and I don't see the what draw to the area is.
