Thought some of you might use this if you have multi speed PTO options IMG_1748.JPG

We just purchased a TYM T1054 and only have a 5’ brush hog so I was thinking I could use the 750 pto speed but was looking for a calculator to figure what engine RPM would give 540 in that range. Maybe not burn as much fuel. And ran across this little calf. Reminded me of the ohm’s law we studied in school.

My advice for the overall heath of your machine is to run 540 at PTO rpms for a brush hog.

I hear ya! I only have a 5’ bushhog for my 105hp tractor. Was considering running the pto select in 750 and lowering the engine rpm to save a little fuel.

Found the pto chart and thought I’d share!
