I like the fact that the dealer got the factory engineers involved early. So by Monday the engineers will have had a week to look at the build specs, and come up with a plan. Things ought to go pretty quickly now. What I'm sure nobody likes is that the hydraulic problem wasn't picked up when they built it.

Either way, it could be a good chance for TBNers to learn more about Mahindra and how they handle things. There aren't many Mahindras around here, and it's not that we aren't curious....it's just that we don't know much about Mahindra yet.

To be honest I don’t think I could ask for better customer service. So far they have been very prompt in getting back to me and trying to work this out. He did say that they have never had this problem and that is why they don’t know for sure what it could be. Leave it to me to be the guy that gets the first one lol.
I called about the problem (on a Friday afternoon) and just thought it was low on hydraulic fluid due to a leaking quick connector. They showed up 1st thing Monday morning to fix the leak and top off the hydraulic fluid and to double check everything else. The service guy said I would need to get all the air out of the system so to run the tractor a while using all the hydraulics and that if there was still a problem to let them know. At this point he felt like there was a problem but Said it would require a trip to the shop as they don’t have the tools needed in the service trucks to do the test needed and he would talk to his boss as soon as he got back and that I should also call his boss after running it to confirm that we still had a problem. Being that it was so late in the day I waited until the next morning to call and when I talked to him he had already talked to other shops and was waiting on the engineers to call him back as he had already put in a call the them.

Honestly guys could we as owners ask for any more than what he has been doing for me? Personally I’m very impressed with the customer service I have gotten at this point. I have gotten way worse service from other big name companies.

Agree with Scotty and Richard. My brother was curious about the Mahindra and had done business at our local dealership. My brother is a mechanic and went to discuss them more in depth only to find the dealership had Mahindra come get all their tractors. He sill handles LS and Gehl equipment. His dealership is pretty big, but has a two bay repair shop, said he hates warranty work, so he dropped Mahindra. Tractors may well be great, but without support it can be pretty stressful; other dealerships have increased shop size, every brand breaks from time to time.

Well the dealer called me around quitting time yesterday to tell me that they have found the problem and think they have fixed it but would know for sure this morning. When the 3rd function valve was installed (the way it was intended to be installed from the engineers) it created a bypass basically for all the hydraulic oil leaving the hydraulics weak and not functioning properly. As of last night they were pretty confident they had the problem fixed but wanted to leave it so they could make sure that it was 100% fixed. They said they would call me back today and let me know.

A good dealer is worth a Lot when things like this come up. Great that it is working out for you so you can get back to tractoring.

I agree. My last 5 tractors have come from the same dealer. I don’t even shop price. I know list & I know what I pay. When I have an issue. They have always been resolved with one call
