74 this morning and headed to 85. Rain overnight and more expected later today.

Been spreading new litter in the chicken coops. Have one more house to level down. Take about an hour. Currently getting allergy shots. Then disinfect litter and bug spray and start setting up barns. May run to the state fair tomorrow.

Set a gooseneck on the new truck yesterday. Didn’t set as bad as I was afraid. Loaded up skid steer and set it tongue heavy set truck level but couldn’t squat it. Moved it like nothing. Trailer and skid steer probably 11-12k. Nice improvement over old truck.

RNG good news on van.

Thanks for the well wishes for my wife, she is staying positive, but I can tell it bothers her.

Overcast today, supposed to be cooler, perhaps in 80s instead of 90s, still heavy smoke.

Plan today is to take a few hours off work this afternoon and take the travel trailer in and get 4 new tires, maybe 5 (wife wants a new spare and to carry 2 spares when we venture very far from home). I agree, just not sure I want to spend the money right now (I need another wheel also, I might want to shop around for that and then get another spare).

I didn't sleep well Wednesday night, had to start early yesterday for work, fell asleep in easy chair after work, woke up for some dinner, fell asleep again, woke up and went to bed.. wow, didn't realize how tired I was, slept most of night.

Off to town, breakfast with wife, errands.

Neighbor supposed to call later for my assistance to use my forks to unload a pallet of tile for his bathroom remodel.

Transferring 9 gallons UTF less than a qt at a time sure made getting a transfer pump look attractive.

Drew I'm in a walk in clinic and they estimated 34 minute wait time 96 minutes ago.

Back inside. Got all 18 sets of blades sharpened and back on mower. Took a while to get the knack on how to grind blade and not get a shower at same time. Took a few minutes to read the 1 page manual. No safety and caution pages. Need to put a waterproof switch on motor.

Hope the treatment helps with your neck pain.

I wear low ankle socks during warm weather. But somethings eats them up. Gave up sorting. As long as color is the same. I garb 2 and put them on.

I don’t wear socks very often anymore, but when I do they are all white.

Are you all sitting down? I drove my van yesterday! Not far, but in traffic far enough to get a tank of gas and get back to the mechanic's shop. It goes, shifts and stops, it steers straight, turns easily, and visibility is outstanding.

Topps, I hope whatever "not fun" you had to do last week is past

Kyle and Buppies, thanks, I was dealing with some issues regarding my late wife, some final arrangements, but I think it’s all settled now.

My knee is much better today and I feel better, it stays swollen, much like LS, but if the pain stays at a minimum I can deal with it.

Buppies, Kyle, LS, Drew and all of you under the weather, prayers sent.

90’s again today, very humid. Tomorrow is supposed to be better. Sunday Ellen and I are helping her dad with a tractor drive and dinner, a little more than I want to do but I’ll survive it.
