The trouble with a conibear is that they aren't very forgiving. A 1 3/4 coilspring makes a great live trap though. You might want to use a grain bag or heavy coat when setting an animal free though.
(And if you catch a cat you won't be sleeping very long... it's unbelievable the noises that they can make. )

aaaaaawww, the object of the 220 isn't to "set them free"!

IF, I catch a cat, then it's one less cat problem and there's no noises from them to keep me awake...

I have no problem with the silly things. They're kind of fun to watch sometimes. Almost like Otters on land.

I just don't want then burrowing under or near my house which was the reason I started the relocation plan. That and the potentially ankle busting holes.

SO, you are like most townies, "relocating" YOUR problem so it becomes some one else's problem!

Just take care of YOUR problem yourself!

I get so sick of people dumping THEIR problem animals around here, which is why "I" end up having to use the above 220!!

^^ Not even close on any count. There's just no point in killing things for no reason. Annoying us is not a reason. Remember, we annoy them too.

What I find funny (not) is that because they are so kind and love animals so, so much, and would never harm another of God's wonderful creatures they use a trap called "Have a Heart"  Aww...., how woke! Let's take a animal, remove it from it's shelter, food supply, family, etc... and drop it into some hostile strange territory... It really should be renamed "Have it die hungry, cold, traumatized, out of your sight" trap.

It's like never wanting to see an animal harmed, so you buy your hamburger at the store.

"A 2004 study of grey squirrels who were live-trapped and relocated from suburban areas to a large forest showed that a staggering 97 percent of the squirrels either soon died or disappeared from their release area. "

Scrap the Trap When Evicting Wildlife : The Humane Society of the United States

You know the Humane Society of the United States is not about animal welfare, but about animal rights, don't you? They are akin to PETA.

The Bottom Line: HSUS = PETA - HumaneWatch
