Tot he forum from Alabama. You don't need luck, Just familiarize yourself with all the safety features, ensure all the fluids are correct and go have fun. Be sure to perform all the required maintenance when they are due. Congrats on the new little Cubbie.

Ya I also agree the LX410 is a great machine.

My 410 is going on 3 years old now, still great as ever.

But then I've been a Yanmar fan since I owned a 220D from 1985-1998.

Between 1998 and 2012, I had the unfortunate experience of owning a New Holland 1925.....not NEAR the tractor Yanmar builds.

One thing you might want to do: Add the step to the right side if yours didn't come with it (mine didn't). I found it quite unhandy to always have to get off on the left side and walk around the tractor if something needs doing on the right side.

I also welded a pc of angle between the ROPS behind the seat to mount a decent sized tool box. The one that comes in the fender doesn't hold enough tools to suit me.

You should be pleasantly surprised at how little the step costs, I don't remember exactly but somewhere around $14 dollars. I had to drill a couple of holes to mount mine but well worth the trouble.

This is an old thread, so not sure anyone's still listening, but... where did you get the right side step? That is a pain to keep going all the way around, or take that big step upward.

Also - anyone have a wiring diagram for the Lx410? I can't seem to find a specific service manual for it, and I'm chasing down a repeated blown Switch Fuse. No obvious signs of frayed or chewed wires, it just keeps popping.

I installed a step on the right side.....just bought the left side step, requires some cutting and mods, but easy enuff and works great. Step was quite reasonably priced as well. Good luck.

I also used the left side step...just turn it around and mount on the right side. Been a while, but I don't recall having to do anything but bolt it up. If I recall, the mount tabs for the step are already there....which begs the question: WHY didn't Yanmar put one on it to start with ?

I also added a fender handle on the right side....I like something to hold on to lot of time bushhogging or whatever. Just bought another handle and drilled the fender, bolted on.
