Should be FEL >> 3RD function >> hoe >> 3pt. And yes, plumbed to pressurized return, not tank.

I agree that this is how it should be done, but in reality any order of installation of the 3rd function and the hoe is not going to make any difference. As long as you start with the FEL and end with the 3pt, everything in between will work in any order of installation.

Agreed. With the supplied hoses, it seems to install without additional parts with the order I posted. I hope the original poster has tested the backhoe by now.
