My hand control setup and me doing things any other person does, just takes a little longer that's all.. Maybe someone will be searching for something someday and see these posts and get inspired and maybe change there life for the better.. I think that would be pretty **** cool..

Sir my hat is off to you!

A buddy of mine lost both legs in Nam. He became a heck of a Trapshooter and made the All American team. Tons of fun to be around and a general good attitude.

He never gave up and lived a full life.

2 years ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer which has gotten into my bones my spine my shoulders and hips are eaten up with it I live with constant pain but in the past couple months I seem to be getting better and but I still can't do what I was doing driving tractor trailer hauling oversize. I am retired and only 56 know that the cause of me getting better is in the hands of God I see it one day we all will be without pain when we get to go home with Him that's what keeps me going every day knowing that everything will work out for the best in His timing so those of us who deal with the consequences life has thrown at us everyday keep your eyes and heart focused on Jesus and His mercy and Grace is sufficient for the day!!!!

My Wife was paralyzed from the neck down in a car accident when she was 29 years old. C 4-5-6 We owned a 70-acre farm in N. KY. (Our Dream} We had 3 small children 2-5 and 7 this was 1981. I owned Meat Markets. 5 of them, I planned on retiring before I was 45. After the accident I Sold them and became a day trader for about 20 years, quit in 1999. Life was tough but we got though it with flying colors. Our kids are all very successful. We are now 72 and 66 and doing just fine. And I am very proud of her she still looks like a million $$. and I love her to pieces.

My hat is off to this guy right here, a lot of others would have walked away, I have seen it many times.. When I read this post by JDL538 I know exactly what his family went through and how difficult is was to stay the course and he did it, trust me, that is dedication and strength not seen very often these days..

Thanks to all you guys for your compliments.. I thought that I could add a positive outlook to an otherwise groom and doom thread, turns out there are others that did the same..

I remember back in 82 we went to a rehabilatation Hospital in Chicago it was the worst experience of our life they would put food in front of my wife who couldn't pick up a fork and come back later and take it away. They didn't care about anyone, my worst fear was that she would be raped there. I was running back and forth from Cinti. every few days and she called me crying I couldn't take it when she cried. There were many Para's and Quads the guys mostly wanted to kill themselves the woman (very few) had mostly good atittudes. We left after a wasted month and before I killed someone. They treated Monkeys in a Zoo much better. It took me about 6 years before I got over people staring at my wife, it was like they never saw a Woman in a wheelchair. And it is still that way. There is so much that normal people don't know about being paralzed. It's just normal life for us now but the 1st few years were ****.
