Wow nice place! congratulations on the new adventure. You sure have done a lot of work there!! Wishing you all the best.

Thanks. Taking a run down place and making something out of it has given me a lot of pleasure over the years. Always been short of spending money whist doing it, but we have enjoyed living in a few different countries.

I was wondering why olive oil went up so much in price!. you stopped selling it.. sorry to hear that!..

It is because there is a general shortage of high quality oil. How many times have you heard of the US authorities testing olive and oil and finding it is not what it says on the label?

Yes, click the "Multi-Quote" icon for as many posts as needed, then click "Reply With Quote":

Thanks, but I was restricted to quoting two posts. Whenever I added a third (and I tried the last three in all combinations of which was to be third) it dropped off one of the others.

rekees, Thank you for taking the time to reply, and anybody else I have so far failed to acknowledge. I do appreciate it. I have always found this a good site for people willing to spare the time to give advice.

Eddie, Thanks for the remarks, and especially the constructive criticism. You are right and I had not really noticed that things inside the shed could be tidier. All you see in the photos are general storage areas, not workshop areas, including quite a lot of stuff that has to be taken to specific disposal sites, such as fertiliser bags and spray chemical containers to different places. They are quite a distance and out of my normal way so I go infrequently, but it builds up quickly. I am overloaded with hay (not a bad thing) and that does not help either, but I will make some trips before anyone comes.

Did 4 "Multi-Quote" and 1 "Reply With Quote", seems to work from my computer using Windows 10.

Are you using a smart phone?

You might want to sen personal mail to Rox via TBN since she is also growing olives and selling olive oil. She and her husband might be able to share ideas. Their place is in southern France.

Would advertising in the UK or Ireland be possible? We have spent some time in Ireland, not enough, and I daily read a 3-4 Irish news websites. Seems like farming is a big deal in Ireland and maybe someone would want to go where it is warmer. Though, we were there during the heat wave this summer and people were complaining about the high temperatures. It was 82-84 F.:laughing::laughing:

Later,
Dan

I use a desktop with Windows 10. I do not own a smart phone. I have no need of one. I will try more than two multi-quotes again sometime.

Thanks for the info. I am only interested in selling at this stage. I do have a Plan B for marketing our ever increasing produce in the UK if we do not sell.

We are concentrating our press and digital advertising in the UK and Ireland in the first few months, with other countries lined up to follow on. I am confident we have it covered for Europe and certain places in Africa, but as I said in the OP I just wondered whether TFF members thought there might be any interest from possible buyers in the USA.

Temperature is relevant to what is "normal". The difference between a Scottish Highland mid winter and Australian outback mid summer within about 24 hours flying time is a lot different to moving between the two countries in Spring or Autumn - although a Scottish summer day can be colder than an Australian mid winter one.
