I used the shovel for the edge only. Got to be straight and perfect. OCD. Lol.

ok, today we got the neighbors limbs up and taken care of. I also had to retighten the pins on the bush hog because they both worked loose yesterday while I was doing 4 1/2 hours of bush hogging. I put the impact wrench to them, got em good and tight, then spot welded opposite sides. they won't come loose again. If I ever need to take them off, I'll just grind the weld off ;)

I also put the rear rack on and sprayed the fence line and driveway weeds. Here's my setup for that:

am I the only one who does something on his tractor every day?? :D today, I moved some of my pallets of wood for the smoker and some of my implements and got back to work on clearing one side of my property. I found out that trees that are 5 - 6" at the base and growing within a foot of each other are too much work to dig out, from now on I'll cut em off about 3' and let em sit a year or so and then work on the stumps. I also had a big pile of limbs from the big cedar tree we cut down back in the spring to move, so I laid em across a couple of chains and used the hooks I put on the FEL to pick em up and move em

oh yeah, all those chips I had piled up from using the new chipper a few weeks back were in the way of where I need to work next on monday, so I did some practicing scooping.....this wasn't a big pile, but I was happy after two swipes to have a full bucket. scooping isn't as easy to start with as it looks like it would be

You are just a fireball of activity! Slow down, you don't want to run out of projects!

well see, it's like this. 2 1/2 years ago, I started fencing in the property. I got to where it was so overgrown on the one side, I stopped. So I've got to get that cleared and finish getting that fence up. Plus, that's going to give me another 20-25 feet on that side, and that's where all my implements are. I have a bunch of tin off an old building, I'm considering putting up a long pole shed down that side to keep everything under.....

and we're getting ready to cut down a big pine tree in yard beside the driveway where we want to put up a shelter for the camper, then there will be the garden, my wife's dad owns several rental houses and has already talked to me about doing some driveway work on some of them, and he has this huge pile of limbs for me to chip up, and and and..... ;) I have no shortage of projects, and that's not even counting today I've had 3 people email me about bush hogging for them and 2 others wanting an estimate on scraping their driveways..... :D

Hopefully I'll get mine back Monday and can start some of the things I have waiting. Need to work on the fence line which will involve some digging since I don't have a post hole digger. Then I need to plant the trees I found today for half price.

man you need a post hole auger for sure! I use it a LOT, esp since you also have trees to plant!

A PHD is almost as invaluable as my BH. Can't decide which one to keep on the tractor! Second best thing I put on was a thumb on the BH, now I can pick up a bunch of stuff that I couldn't before!
