Buying Advice What kubota is similar to 4400 or 4600 JD

I am looking for a jd 4400 or 4600 SIZE tractor and I am not fixated on brand, but would like to stick to Kubota or jd because of the two local dealers in my area. I need help trying to figure out what the same size and function tractor in Kubota is. I want as little electronics as possible, so not too new. 4x4 Hydro with front loader. If you give me a Kubota number to look at if you happen to know any differences between the k and jd that would be great. Thanks

JD 4400 looks to be 98-2001, 35HP, 2900lbs. JD 4600 is similar age, 43HP, 3450lbs.

Kubota tractor list of sorts can be found here: TractorData.com - Kubota tractors sorted by model. Equivalents would be maybe an L3410 and L4300 or L4310 from looking at the data, but no idea if those were actually common models in your location.

JD 4600 = Kubota L4760 or MX SERIES. (66" width)

OP stated he desires minimal electronics. That eliminates ALL 60 series kubotas.

MX Series is as simple as 4,000 pound bare tractor new Kubotas are offered.

L2501 is 2,500lbs or so. They rejiggered the engine to get under the 25hp emissions limits. So it will be as big of a machine as you will find new without a DPF & associated electronics. Everything else new will have a DPF & I think common rail injection.

I get the impression OP was looking second hand, about the same vintage as the JD 4400 or 4600. So we're talking around about 1998-2002 tractors, not current models.
