If I was going to seal mine no more than every three to five years
I'm right at four years, and hope to not do this again, took my time to put a lot of product down, fill all the cracks.
In suburbia they come along with those spray trucks and put down watery black stuff that looks great, but only lasts a year or two at most.
I had so many repairs due to tree roots and heavy truck damage on the edges that my repairs looked bad, time to make it all like new.
Might be able to finish it next week, not sure of weather. May have gotten all I can get done this year. Was supposed to be a July-August job but my primary help quit. I'd rather not put anything down than mess it up.
They say normal drying is over 75 degrees and 35 percent humidity. I don't think the humidity has ever gotten that low here...but enough chemical dryers in sealant as long as the sun hits it, dries pretty quickly. One hour to walk on, one day to drive on.
My friend at the River just got back in her house yesterday, and my friends in Wilmington just got back in their homes.
This storm will be remembered, but for me, I think all of us locally dodged the big one. I'd rather spend three days cleaning up leaves, sticks and mess than deal with tarps on a roof.
