Do you have any idea how much one employee actually costs a company per year compared to an automated phone system?

My company does a thing called total rewards statement. My total rewards statement shows the company cost to me for pay, vacation, benefits, SS, 401K and a couple other things.... at just a tick over $200,000 per year. I gross around $135K in pay checks.

So im approaching a quarter million a year cost to them. Rock Crawling pays well.

Your salary + 50% sounds just about right. When I was self employed I figured that about 1/3 of what I charged was mine if compared to an hourly or salaried job.

Can we ease up with the references to the shopping site named after a South American river? Jeff's already a multi-billionaire and he doesn't need your money. The little guys do. I know a lot of times when you buy from there, it's a little guy seller, but that isn't always true and even when it is, Jeff still gets his cut.

I just find it annoying that so many threads point people there for one thing or another that is almost always available from other sites.

Just say No to JeffCo.

I hate those things. I try to set up an appointment with my Dr; "Nobody is available to take your call, please leave a message". I have to plan my schedule around making the call in the first place; so what good does it do to leave them a message?
