Good morning to all! Low was only at 55, going up to 74 today. Slight chance of a shower. The 60% chance we had for Tuesday resulted in a strong downdraft wind which dropped the temp almost 20 degrees in 10 minutes. Only got .2" in the gauge from a 15 minute shower. Forecasted temps are supposed to drop to highs in the mid 60's starting on Sunday.

Weird work schedule this week...every other day. Kind of messes up any plans that are longer than a day. It's all good though, breaks up any monotony. Just going to putter around today. Wifey says she's going to make her homemade from scratch pan pizzas today. MMM- MMM good. At least I know what I'm eating too much of tonight.

I wish I got an alert like Buckeye's....only including the tractor and many attachments :thumbsup:

Another strange thing, i also don't mind vacuuming like Wngsprd. Wifey likes when I do it. Never considered it a chore.

Drew, congrats on finishing the driveway. I bet you are glad that project is done.

burned the burn pile, then 6 hours of mowing.
Heading inside and phone rings, Kubota dealer wants to come out and replace the blades on the F2690 with a another set.
We went from oem to gator blades and the results were awful.

when the new blades were taken out I asked to see them, to confirm my suspicion.
Yup, hard to believe.
Twice they sent the repair guy out with blades for a 60 inch mower when I have a 72. Service manager drove a new set out, they work much better, though deck still does a small windrow at the right corner. I need more seat time with it, raised the height by half an inch too.
You would think the service tech would have noticed he was putting smaller blades on than he took off. Not very impressive.

So, big learning point here if you put 60 inch blades on a 72 mower, the results will be poor. Duh.

I'm curious as to who picked up cost for your 2nd shot?

My health insurance paid. When I went for the first one I didn’t go to the doctor first. Just went directly to CVS.

Went to HF and picked up a small clevis for the lawn tractor so I can pull out some scrubs I killed with roundup. They were to close to the tractor shed so they have to go. Went to the grocery for tea bags and came out with a full cart of many things.

RNG, It is very handy isn't it.

Good evening all. 74F for the start, partly cloudy, calm wind. Moderate wind with some brisk gusts, sky cleared off, and a high temp of 90F. May be the last 90 deg day for a while. Wife and I went to stepdaughter's house and mow and weedeated some. This afternoon we played couples golf and came in 3 s we got our entry fee back. Going to a wedding granddaughter is in back in Missouri, (Sedalia) 500 mile drive, taking the truck
RNG does weed season decrease the fire season risk?
