I didnt take pictures, was driving and had a kid with me. Within 1 mile of each other saw: f 150 pulling tandem axle trailer with 3 rolls of sod (smaller maybe 3ft around, not huge ones) not 1 strap. Just kept thinking how bad it would suck to run into one of those on a 55 mph road! Also saw a truck towing a trailer with mini excavator and dude in the operators seat. Going very slow in right lane no lights at all on trailer. Same 55mph road.

What do you all think? Total load with trailer and what's in the truck is about 6,600lb. Truck is squatting good but not as bad as the flatbed makes it look (unlevel flatbed). View attachment 574232

It is hard to see because it is straight on, but the studs/hub looks so deep on the rear rim I am wondering if that Ranger is actually a dualie? The back rims just don't look normal in that picture.

That's because it it. It's my truck. All stock besides Toyota single piece dualie rims and flatbed. I will be doing a build thread on the truck soon once I pull it back off the road and work on it more. Heres a better picture of the duals 20180818_163834.jpeg

Everything is good on this trucks frame. Had the original stock step side bed off this winter when I switched to the flatbed. Cleaned it up and painted it some and everything was fine.

Different story for my other ranger that is going to just be a daily driver. Back by the bumper on driver side has a rust hole so I've cleaned it up and will be welding a patch in. In Michigan there are no inspections so it doesn't matter if you weld to frames (it will still be done well)

Cool. They sell bolt on frame ends for pretty cheap. Put them on my youngest son's 98 Ranger. My oldest son bought them for his 04 but the frame was too far gone on that one. Ended up getting the rear half of the frame from a nearby junkyard that gets them from down South. Amazing how clean that Southern frame was, all the bolts spun right out easily. As for welding on the frames, it's allowed here if done well. My Jeep has more welded on bits than original it seems. We do have yearly inspections.

Why did you put duels on a ranger?

Why not?

Picked up the 4 set of rims and all 6 brand new tires with chrome spiked lug nuts for $275. Cheaper then I could buy tires since I needed them anyway.

Come on, you must have been young once! We all did things we thought were special, but really didn't matter in the overall scheme of things.
