I agree, I doubt anyone got fired. It sounds like their method of operation is to throw up a smoke screen so the customer backs off due to not wanting to deal with the crap.

The best thing now is turn it over to the cc company which LD1 has done.

Another thing is contact the Kentucky Office of Consumer Protection, Office of Consumer Protection -

Kentucky Attorney General .

I bet no one was fired. I could just see it now...."Jennifer" is always the one that sells the parts, then the names change as it goes through the process. There's probably only 3 people that work there at the family business! Poor J always gets the blame too!

Even if she was fired she's probably better off. Time to let the CC company deal with them. Between the Yelp comments (extra if you click on the link below the first one) and the BBB one it shows this place is quite shady or at least unprofessional.

I have learned as you LD1 the hard way on more than one occasion - up to and including a divorce - best thing is to get it in an email chain in writing - unfortunately its hard for me to trust these days outside of on paper - even a judge these days will call you a fool for transacting in such a manner when he has to make a decision in court - I don't even use texting for proof as its to easily lost but not as easy to lose on the cloud.........

I hope your CC company will come through for you and regardless of the shape of the block like you said it was the wrong one - what does age have to do with any of this per her remark..........

I have to applaud your work and experience - I would allow you to work on my tractors any day of the week!!!!
