When Kubotas are assembled and shipped they have the wheels set in for obvious reasons. Mine were like that when I bought it new.
On my 9540 it was possible to remove the tire/rim without removing the center. To get the width I wanted I had to swap sides.
When I did this my tires were not filled with fluid. It was still a struggle and I did it by myself. I've swapped several tires and find it easier to do by myself. With a helper you find yourself fighting each other.
Hopefully your setup is like mine. Appears to be the same center with maybe a narrower rim. My tires are 18.4x30. Not sure of rim width.
Good luck Six!!!
After you unbolted the wheel from the rim did you then twist the wheel sideways and work it off a little at a time? When you tried to remove the wheel, were the center clamps situated at 10, 2, 4 and 8 o'clock? Maybe 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock? Know what I mean?
Is this a Herculean effort or just average? My only goal is to paint the rim and center. I could do it on the tractor but would not be able to paint the inside and that would bother me.
