Hello all, Just joined tractor by net. The wife just brought home a "new to us" tractor and now it needs some loving!! Atleast it runs, and runs good. The PTO doesn't work, which the PO believes it to be electrical but we will see. Any ways he had no idea what model it is, which is going to make it tough to get any manuals or parts for. He said it was a 1983 tractor, but im not sure how he got that info so it may or may not be true. There is a sticker on top of the rocker box that says 45, not sure if that means 45hp or what. The bottom of the engine cover says G-DX. I found a raised stamp on the gear box that says TA-A6B. It's a 4 cyl isuzu diesel. That's about all the info I have at the moment. I have taken several pictures but I don't think I can post them yet. I have also sent an email to ISEKI hoping they can help me out as well as posted in Tractorforums.

You might just check the net for photos and try to match something up. I have an older TL3200. 2 wheel drive, no loader and a lot older. It has been a great tractor but hard to find parts for. There should be a serial number plate on it somewhere. I will check mine and not where it is at.

Judging from the pictures, I would check out online info for TA 375 and TA 545 models and see if it is one of those models.

Thank you for the responses. I have spent quite a bit of time looking at pics on the web, I originally thought it was the TA545, however I was informed the TA545 was a 24v system, mine is 12v. Not sure about the TA375, I will look that up, I believe that is only a 37hp tractor though which makes me wonder what the 45 sticker on the top if the tractor is for? Still waiting to hear word back from ISEKI, I'm in contact with a Mr. Umemoto over there and hopefully he can help orr.

I cant speak for all Iseki models but many of their models were like the other Japanese maufacturers in that they would spec the model number to reflect PTO horsepower instead of engine HP like for the U.S. market. The reason I mention that is, conceivably a 37 PTO HP tractor would have an engine in the 42-45 HP range. I dont know if this would be helpful but this thread referrences tire size for the 375. May be a clue that helps https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/owning-operating/269401-iseki-ta-357-landleader-2.html

I have a TA 247 and yours is an exact duplicate only a click or two larger. Mid 90's. i'm told. I understand that mine is 27hp.

Very good info to have, that would certainly explain the 45 on top of the engine and and being different from the tractor data.

Thanks for the info. Looking at pics on the web of the 247, I don't see the exhaust stack so not sure how it's routed. Again mine certainly could have been modified, so knows what previous owners did. Also mine has 4 posts for the roof, with lights mounted on the front posts.

The 247 has 2 ways to run the exhaust. Yours may be the same. There's a Plug for top exhaust and for a side down and away. I have ROPS but no roof. Your grille is a little different but the rest is nearly identical. Want to swap? :)

the model number on not stolen tractors was printed on the rear fenders, it looks like the model number on this one has been erased, can you find the serial number on this?. you have to be VERY careful buying tractors!.

I haven't found a serial number, im sure it's there somewhere under the oil, mud, and grease, I just haven't found it. I saw somewhere on another post, that the engine number is behind the injector pump, however with the front loader frame in the way it's tough to get in there. Going to be giving her a good bath this weekend and another look over to see if I can find anything.

I did look up the TA247 on tractordata, it says that's a 3 cyl engine? U.s. that correct? My exhaust is plugged in the side, you are correct about that.

3 cyl. yes. Been a great unit. Part log skidder and part Dozer. Moves snow when my plow truck can't. Small enough to travel in the woods very well and does all my heavy lifting. Could't live with it.

What is the engine model? Should be 4(letter)(letter)(#) Tire sizes?

Oops I missed this update, sorry about that. Any idea where I would look for the engine model? I will have the wife snap some pics of the tires to see what the size is.

So the rear tires are 12.4-32, not sure on front tires yet.

Ok, I'm not sure if it's a serial number or not, but we found an engraving in the frame, left side in the front. It says TA8F-00717 I still haven't found an engine code, not sure where to look for that. Above the numbers I found on the transmission, TA-A6B, it looks like there is also a albedo of a date that says 87-8-19. I'm guessing that was the manufacturer date, atleast of the transmission?

Well I finally heard back from Iseki, his email says

"As the result of check, I identified that the model is TA4 model for Japanese domestic market."

Not sure what a TA4 is, on tractor data there is a TA417, could that be what he's talking about? Im getting closer that's a good thing!!!

Hello all , the 45 number on top of your engine means 45 hp , your tractor should be a TA 450
