Price Check 5105, 4WD Price Check (Used Unit)?

Hello Everyone,

I found a used 5105 4wd Utility Tractor in the paper today. I'm going to take a drive out to take a look at it in a little bit.

Here's what for sale:
5105, 4wd Utility Tractor (600 hours), the owner says that he owned it for 4 years.
KD (KJD) front end loader
Rhino 6' heavy duty rotary cutter
Box Blade

The ad says $16,000.00 Firm.

I will get the exact attachment model numbers and tractor specs when I see it.

What do you think this may be worth?

I was looking at one a year ago 5105 4wd with JD loader dealer was asking 19K about 300 hrs.

Check fastline.com and deere.com used equipment for more data points. agriculture.com talk has more opinions on utility & larger tractors.

I just got back from seeing it.

Here's what was for sale with a description:

JD5105, SyncShift, 4wd, R1 (Ag) tires, folding ROPS, Metal Sun Shield (non JD). 544 hours. Minor dent below headlamps, seat coming loose from back rest, rear light lenses broken (all minor). The unit was used for home maintenance and some commercial pasture maintenance. The oil looked clean and the unit has had only 2 oil changes. It was kept under a roof in a pole barn down here in Florida and the paint still shines. I was told that the unit is 4 years old.

KD (KJD) QT5400 fel with quick attach brackets. Minor rust spot or two on arms, probably not worth mentioning. I can't find much information on this loader as far as its worth.

Rhino "Twister" TW72, 6' double blade, medium duty rotary cutter with slip clutch. Front and Rear Chains. Fair shape, no rust.

Box Blade...Dang! I saw it out there but I didn't check it out close. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

None of the above is supposed to be over 4 years old.

The owner wanted $16,000.00 (his ad said "firm"). I was going to offer $14,500.00 or $15,000.00. Someone stop me quick if I am wrong. Any comments? Doc, Mike, anyone?
